The Spirit of a Bentley

Well, I'm beginning to feel I'm someone special. I'm being driven in a Bentley. Yes, you read correctly. I bet you're wondering what's Willoughby doing riding around in the back of a Bentley. I have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming.

Well, I'm being driven around by Ms Marlene Ashford. Unfortunately this isn't my vehicle but the family Mainmounts over in the Ribble Valley. Ted Hustwick knows them, he of the Water Witches of Clitheroe.

The Mainmounts think the car is haunted so I'm here with a friend and clairvoyant psychic, Paula Waites, to see if we can find out more.

Paula has had us in her neck of the woods. I don't suppose they see many Bentley's down this area of the estate. She can certainly make a noise out of the simplest manoeuvres, we're back outside her house again, this time she's forgotten her crystals. Can't say I've ever seen her use them.

Anyway we traversed hill and dale to try and speak with the spirit of the car. It is said it only makes its presence felt when the car is in motion. Perhaps we should run to the coast said Paula, get a bite to eat then try again on the way back. What do you think, Wills?

I think we should return the car and write this off. Nothing is going to happen, come on Paula its back to your Mini Cooper.

Marlene whisked us back to the Mainmounts and from the luxurious ride of the Bentley I headed back in the bone shaker of Paula's Mini Cooper.

One postscript to add. Apparently the interior car camera fixed on us during the drive and recorded orb like objects darting around the inside of the vehicle. Curious nevertheless...
