The Diary of Jonathan Harker
I bid you welcome to my diary pages. The Jonathan Harker journal is a collection of short stories, ghost tales and day to day experiences. Of course nothing is what it seems here in the ghostly world of Jonathan Harker, but amongst the strange and bizarre there are lighter moments which I shall write and share. Let me start by telling you about the neighbours.
We the neighbours are a strange lot

Where I live there’s a few of us scattered along the lane and if you think around where you live, or lived, do you know of strange folk? You know, the one’s you’d say they’re strange up there.
On the other hand, we’d say, don’t go up there because their house is haunted. We use to say it about a place up on a hill and about a neighbour who was 500 years old.
Well you can guess the next bit. We have become the strange lot.
You see there is the Field Marshal, who fires off rounds at the pigeons early morning. The pigeons use his Bugatti Type 57 as target practice.
Then there is George Washy, he buys and sells. Washy, had a load of Himalayan out-sized wool jumpers and turned the back room of the Shepherds Inn into something that resembled an Eastern Bazaar. He would coax anyone in to buy, if showing the slightest glance in the direction of the back room.
Moreover, of course there is Silas. He has turned his garden into a themed graveyard. Placed around the plot are mausoleums, angels, great Victorian edifices, everything, I don't know if any bodies sleep there. He has a smoke machine and when night falls, he is out blasting the place with instant fog.
What about me? I hear you asked. Well, I am the one they say, Isn’t it him who had that trouble with the vampire!
