A Card Reader who Performs Cartomancy.

card reading

In a how to do series of the paranormal we check out Cartomancy, divination using a pack of playing cards.
 |    |

I've met up with Sara, a card reader who offered to read my cards. However, although Sara does read the Tarot Cards she tends to perform cartomancy, that is she reads using an ordinary pack of playing cards.

It is a form of divination that has been around for almost as long as the cards themselves.

Sara, tells me that many different predictive meanings have been given to the individual cards and to the combination in which they appear. I'm also told that you can either deal cards from the whole 52 card pack for your reading or else you can reduce it to a 32-card pack. This is done by removing the twos, threes, fours, fives, and sixes of each suit leaving a 32-card pack.

That was a most fascinating reading. Intriguing.

Sara informs me to be careful during paranormal investigations for she predicts danger. Wow, good job I'm of strong mind and take a rational approach to such things. I'll tell you something here, Sara did not know of my paranormal investigations. The interesting thing is that there is a house, and Sara's description of it describes it perfectly, the team is due to take a look at it for a future report. Hmmmm!
